“God will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”

Hebrews 6:10

“In Christ, God has provided all things for His glory.”

GP Kids (Birth – 5th Grade)

The kids here at Green Pines are an important and joyful part of our church family. It is during the early years that God is shaping the heart, mind and imagination of each child. The seeds of faith and love are being planted deep within their souls. So, each of the environments we have planned for our children aims to teach them who Jesus is, what He has provided for them, and how they can share and show His love to others around them. We do this in multi-sensory ways using bible stories, songs, activities, intentional play and age-appropriate discussions.

All of our training environments for children are designed with four priorities in mind…

  • Each Family is Strengthened
  • Each Child is Safe & Secure
  • Each Child Learns to Love Jesus & Neighbors
  • Each Child Wants to Return

If you have questions about any of our priorities or how we structure our program according to them, please contact:

GP Students (6th – 12th Grade)

We understand that our students are facing a world with amazing opportunities and serious challenges. We want each of our students to know that this world belongs to God, that they belong to God, and that He has created each of them to live their lives for His glory. We believe the best life is the life lived according to His plan and His purposes in this world. Each Sunday, our students have a time of teaching about a portion of Scripture followed by a time to discuss what the teaching looks like applied to their lives. Each Wednesday, we encourage each of our students to serve in a ministry here on campus and provide them with the training and supervision to do so. We regularly hang out together outside of church and serve the needs of others in various ways in our community and beyond. All of our training environments for children are designed with four priorities in mind…

“How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.” Psalm 119:9

The mission of the student ministry at Green Pines is to lead our youth into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating an environment where they prioritize their relationship with Christ, positively influence their friends, and experience personal spiritual growth.

This is the place to experience life changing worship, in-depth Biblical teaching, and connect to a group of friends in 6th-12th grade.

GPS (Green Pines Students) meets every Sunday from 9:00-10:15 am and every Wednesday from 6:30-7:45 pm.

“Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?” Job 12:12
The Cornerstones Ministry, a group of GPBC men and women aged 55 and up, represents the senior population of the church. This wonderful group is treasured as we respect and learn from each member. This ministry has a strong support network for one another and offers wisdom to other ministries within the church body. The men and women are active in local and foreign missions through special outreach projects such as Operation Christmas Child and ministering to shut-ins.

The Cornerstones group meets the 2nd Monday of each month in the GPBC fellowship hall. The monthly meeting includes dinner followed by guest speakers and/or special music.

Anyone aged 55 & up is encouraged to join this busy and active group.

WORSHIP MINISTRY
“Praise the Lord our God; worship before his throne! Holy is he!” Psalm 99:5
Worship is a vital ministry of GPBC. The gathering together of God’s people in worship to Him on Sunday morning is one of the most important activities a church engages in. It pleases the Lord to hear sounds of praise from His children. It takes many God-called, talented servants to accomplish this ministry and GPBC offers a variety of opportunities for service.
CELEBRATION CHOIR:
The GPBC choir gives men, women and high school students an opportunity to worship the Lord through song. The choir rehearses every Wednesday night at 7:30 in the church annex building. Please come join us and help us sing to the Lord!
CELEBRATION RINGERS HANDBELL CHOIR:
This group of youth and adults perform during Sunday morning worship services. Handbell choir rehearsal is held on Sunday afternoons at 5:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Please contact Vicky McCue if you are interested in handbells.
SALT:
GPBC has formed a Sound And Light Team to address the ever-growing technological needs of the church. A video/production team aids in the worship services by projecting song lyrics, sermon notes, and other information onto a large screen for the audience.
